So I added the bin directory to my PATH manually into /etc/bash.bashrc<br /><br />like this:<br /><br />export PATH=$PATH:/opt/java/jdk1.6.0_05/bin/<br /><br />worked fine for me.<br /><br />cheers]]></description>

It's nearly a requisite, 'cause most installers need root ambient variables, using "sudo" instead give you root privileges, but not make you really root. Actually i'm the worst person that can clear you this concept 'cause i'm not english mothertongue, i advise you to read some documentation about "sudo" and "su" so you can comprehend better the situation. BTW thanks :)]]></description>

This script seems to be looking for the file libgtkembedmoz.so file, but not using it if it is in a directory that includes firefox or thunderbird in its name. On my system, libgtkembedmoz.so appears in:<br /><br />/usr/bin/firefox/<br /><br />/usr/bin/xulrunner/<br /><br />Neither of these appear like they will pass the test, so I also copied the file to /usr/bin/mozilla.<br /><br />After trying to launch sametime, the log file created does show all three directories as being found, but I still bomb with the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME error. My env output includes:<br /><br />MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/mozilla<br /><br />Any ideas that might help?]]></content:encoded>
