Dokumentation IX Sametime: Installation IX Work Suite Domino

The IX Work Suite Domino v5.01 is one of the many possibilitys for a workflow the sametime client can be plugged in. In this Domino database the workflow model is deployed for the bug report and the open issue management.

Further more the required webservice is implemented in this database too.

For the installation please copy the database to your Sametime server in a path of your choise, i.e.

<myserver>/workflow/ix_worksuite_x_xx.nsf

x_xx is the current version number of this database.

After copying please sign the complete database to make sure the agents and services have the right to run on your server. Addtional informations about signing a database you can find in the "Lotus Domino Administrator Help" in chapter "Signing a database or template".

ACL Settings

You have also to check the ACL of the database to run it properly. The required adjustments of the ACL are:

anonymous should have at least read access
your server has to have manager access with all roles and rights
your admin group should have manager access with all roles and rights
all users of the database (mayby default) should have author access and the right to create documents.

Web Service Configuration

For using the workflow in the sametime plugin as a web service the server has to have the http task up and running. Informations about the http task please find in the "Lotus Domino Administrator Help".

If that is all done, you are able to test the web service by calling the following URLs. Please note, that a response must pass without an authorisation (anonymous):

WorkflowService:

http://<myserver>/<mypath>ix_worksuite_5_01.nsf/WorkflowWebService?wsdl

<myserver> is the address of your server like sametime.imixs.com

<mypath> is the choosen path, where the database ix_worksuite_5_01.nsf lays

by calling the URL above you get three config parameters you need to configure the sametime client for the IX Sametime Plugin:

<wsdl:portType name=<xxx> to get the parameter of the Port Name for the workflowservice
<wsdl:service name=<xxx> to get the parameter of the Service Name for the workflowservice
<wsdl:definitions targetNamespace="<xxx>" to get the parameter of the Name Space URI

Connecting the Plugin
